About

ARCHIVAL
RESEARCH

Like most people, I was drawn into genealogy because I wanted to learn about my family and where we came from. I started that journey way back when researchers had to write postal letters and wait months for a response. However, the patience and hard work turned out to be so rewarding that I didn’t want to stop, even after my own lines were mapped.

I have been doing this work for decades; not just as a way to collect names and dates, but as a way to understand people—how they lived, what shaped them, and what carried forward. I approach my research with persistence and a healthy skepticism while always looking for patterns and verifying information across multiple sources whenever possible. I’m comfortable working in the gray areas, where records are incomplete or unclear, and I’m not afraid to follow unconventional paths if they lead to better answers. My work blends traditional genealogical methods with modern research tools, grounded in a deep respect for historical context and ethics.

What matters most to me is doing this work carefully and honestly. Every project is an act of preservation—documenting lives with accuracy, integrity, and care, and honoring the legacy of the people behind the records.

Analysis & Verification

Evidence Evaluation

Analysis of records and documents to assess reliability, reconcile conflicts between sources, and determine which relationships and events can be supported by evidence. Findings are confirmed with citations and clear distinctions between proven facts, reasonable conclusions, and unverified connections.
